In today’s issue: the site that booked $142,696.79 in a single month with Facebook as the engine, four stories moving the market, and the posts that hit hardest in the last 24 hours. Let’s get into it.

  INSIDER ANALYSIS

One site. One month. $142,696.79.

Revenue dashboard showing $142,696.79 in June website ad revenue with Facebook as the top channel

The June statement: $142,696.79 in website ad revenue from one site, with Facebook driving $113,985.19 of it.

A site we run Facebook distribution for closed June at $142,696.79 in website ad revenue. The climb matters more than the total, because the same asset earned $78,919.67 from Facebook in May and $113,985.19 from Facebook in June, which is 44 percent more inside thirty days. Nothing was rebuilt while that happened. Same site, same workflow, and the floor simply moved up, so the revenue split underneath is where the lesson starts.

Facebook drove $113,985.19 of the June total. Google Search added $13,663.58, so Facebook is running at more than eight times what Google pulls, on a site that already earns Discover traffic on its own. Behind that sat 1,766,092 pageviews with the RPM holding at $99.09 while volume scaled, and that is the part worth slowing down for. Rates usually cave when traffic surges, because surge traffic tends to be junk, which means a rate that holds at this scale is telling you the audience is real and advertisers are paying full price for it. About 76 percent of the revenue came off mobile while all of this ran.

The engine is layered, and the layers matter more than any single month. The page pushes distribution, the distribution feeds the website, and the website earns ad revenue while building its own Discover traction, so each layer funds the next. And every number in this breakdown is website ad revenue only: Facebook Content Monetization is tracked separately and pays on top of all of it. The real monthly figure for this asset runs higher than anything on the statement, which raises the practical question of how a page gets run this way.

How we run it

Link shares run daily alongside Content Monetization posts, so the same audience earns on the page and then again on the website.
The page is run as a traffic engine first, which means posts get picked for click-through and share behavior rather than vanity reach.
Volume is scaled against the RPM line, because a rate that holds while pageviews grow is the proof the traffic is real.
Creative and layouts are built mobile-first, since 76 percent of this revenue came off mobile screens.
Content Monetization is reported separately and pays on top, so none of the numbers above include a single CM dollar.

LATEST MARKET NEWS UPDATED DAILY

Moving the market right now.

The top news stories in the last 24 hours.

1 Content Monetization is paying at every scale. One smaller page cleared $2,016.16 in July alone, and the count of creators earning over $10,000 a year grew 30 percent year over year. If your page is approved and sitting idle, the program is currently paying the operators who post daily. The receipts →
2 Meta’s Q2 reads like a publisher memo: $60.8 billion in total revenue, average revenue per person up 23 percent to $16.86, and Q3 guided to $61 to 64 billion. Payouts track ad revenue with a lag, so that guidance is your payout runway for the fall. The runway →
3 Qualified views exclude bots, repeat views from the same account, and impressions that cannot carry ads, so the number on your payout screen is cleaned traffic, not raw reach. Judge a page by its qualified-view line before you judge it by anything else. The mechanics →
4 The click drought is now measurable: fewer than a third of Google searches end in a click, AI Overviews cut organic click-through nearly in half, and CNN’s search traffic fell 25 percent in a year. A monetized Facebook page is the hedge that pays while it protects. The hedge →
